Manifesto

Why I practice the way I do.

Why AI Matters in Clinical Practice

"AI won't replace physical therapists—but physical therapists who use AI will replace those who don't."

I believe in using technology to:

  • Reduce administrative burden (documentation, scheduling)
  • Enhance patient education (personalized explanations, visual aids)
  • Improve clinical reasoning (differential diagnosis support, literature synthesis)

The human element—assessment, touch, empathy, clinical judgment—remains irreplaceable.

On Mentoring the Next Generation

New grads enter the field with knowledge but often lack systems. I focus on:

  • Building clinical reasoning frameworks
  • Developing confidence through structured mentorship
  • Teaching intentionality in patient care

Growth mindset isn't optional—it's foundational.

Approach to Complex Knee Rehabilitation

Post-operative knee rehab isn't linear. It requires:

  • Nuanced understanding of tissue healing
  • Individualized progression based on patient response
  • Integration of strength, movement quality, and psychological readiness

Every athlete is different. Every recovery is different.

Intentional Practice

Every session should have purpose. Every exercise should have rationale.

I design treatment plans that:

  • Align with patient goals (not generic protocols)
  • Integrate seamlessly into daily life
  • Build long-term resilience beyond initial recovery

This philosophy guides every patient interaction, every mentorship session, and every clinical decision I make.
